Astra - Car Alarm Problem

    Hi All, can I have your thoughts on this please..
    I've got a Y reg Vauxhall Astra and all of a sudden I am having
    problems with the car alarm.
    It keeps setting itself off for no reason. I have had the car
    for about 3 years and never had this problem before
    Any information about the alarm and what to look for would be
    greatly appreciated.

    Had this in a "51" astra convertible. Traced it to the tilt sensor in
    the alarm.

    And by the way, check with your insurers before you disable the alarm,
    or else the theft cover will be cancelled!

    Thanks to you all for the comments - I will try these and see if
    I can get by until i get a new motor in 2 months.
