    Hia folks,
just got a new car (used 05) Astra 2.0T SRi (200), with
drivers side rear light cluster having condensation inside. Not had it off
yet, but wondered if this was a common problem. The two plastic nuts seem
tight enough, maybe a seal is missing?

By the way, it goes like the clappers! Nice car.

    Cheers

  2. I think it's, a known problem, mine has fogged up from new two and a
half years ago, so far nothing has fused or broken and it goes away when
    it stops raining.

Cheers Mike, I will take the light fitting off when I get chance, and check
the rubber seal, that is, if it's not missing!

    Cheers

My 2006 Zafira has very similar rear lights and it mentions in the
owners manual that condensation will appear in wet weather inside the
out "skin" and is normal but it appears to clear very quickly.

  8. check for slight graze
It is not nees to be only seal.......sometimes slight grazes or chink
or crack will be able to make this happen
