astra 16v cutting out

    hi i hav a 16v 1.6 astra(1999 t)the prob is
    when i set off to from work it drives ok then all of
    a sudden just dies.if i turn it off then start it back up
    it runs ok the rest of the journey.
    I have checked air filter and plug both are fine

    can anyone help please(or will i need to pay for a check)

    is this at low revs or pullig away p'haps?

    if not
    you should be able to read the codes yourself using the paperclip trick
