2015 Meriva B Turbo not stopping

    Hi All,
    I have a 2015 Diesel Meriva B 1600. The turbo will start up at random times cold or hot and will not stop until I switch off the ignition. The fuel consumption drops to 35 ish MPG while this is happening.

    Does anyone have a clue on what to look for?

    About 135,000 miles and regularly garage serviced.
