    Not my week this week . . . .
"What's that rattle from the drivers side wheel?" I though, loose pads?
No, try a broken front spring. About 2/3rds of the last coil has snapped
    off. £ouch one.
The fault with the xenon headlight has been confirmed as being the
    £175+vat control unit. £ouch two
And to cap it all my 3 week old windscreen picked up a stone chip and
now has a 300mm + crack on the passengers side. £ouch three.

    Doh!

Windscreen not covered on insurance? Need to get the one on my Corsa
sorted out because there's two tiny chips in it. Vauxhall insurance
cover it FOC for a repair and £50 charge if they replace the
windscreen with no effect on NCB - worth seeing if your insurance is
    the same?

Glass is £100 excess on my insurance but all glass is covered not just
the windscreen. Point is that I had a new one fitted 3 weeks ago for
£100. Now its cracked again. No question of it being anything else other
    than a stone chip. So It's time to hit the plastic agiain . . . . .
B*gg*rs up my "cash flow" somewhat!
